I feel that if Hedwig could speak, he'd have a lot of very insightful and knowledgeable things to say. In fact, I think he'd know more than most other characters. And all throughout the series he's been so frustrated at all the idiocy and the loops he and his owner had to jump through, when he knew everything the whole time, and if he only could speak he would tell Harry everything. Except for who Harry is.
(Hedwig is to Harry as Kumajirou is to Canada, I also think. Except Hedwig says "Who" without having to know how to talk. Because he's an owl, not a polar bear, dangit.)

I'm sorry! D: This must be a horrible bit of miscommunication! As the oh-so-wise Guy from Owlcity (I don't know his name, haha XD) says (on twitter XP), "That awkward moment when you add an extra period to the end of the sentence, and it changes the meaning completely.." I assumed that you mean by that extra dot that it was said in a manner that says "Well, I'm sorry you're such an idiot, but..." Because that's what it means when I'm messaging my friends. I'm sorry I read it with such negative assumptions, because it could've been accidentally added, or you could have been trailing off in a mild-mannered and friendly way! I was wrong to assume everyone follows the same general rules of text-communication, because they don't. So I apologize. Really! I have no sarcasm here!
Also, I wasn't butt-hurt or embarrassed. I can see how it comes across that way when you actually had no malicious intent. I just assumed you were meaning to insult me, because of the misunderstanding I had while reading your comment, and I responded in a "I am not about to put up with this" manner. I genuinely don't care how marred my reputation is, as far as how knowledgeable I am about the Harry Potter story, because I'm not a big fangirl of it, I'm just one of those fans who are interested, but not completely in love with it. Do you know what I mean? My original comment, before yours, was meant jokingly, as the deviation was, and I didn't think the details mattered. I'm sorry for all this horrible confusion. I was wrong to assume.
Also, as a side note, I recommend emoticons! No offense meant at all! Really! It helps replace all the indicators given by nonverbal communication in face-to-face speech (such as tone of voice, gestures, facial expression, etc.), and I think that things like this could be prevented if people used positive emoticons when giving advice on the internet! ^^ I know it doesn't look professional, but it helps a lot in the jungle of the internet forums.
